I feel the need to let everyone know, that apparently some Virus' are running wild through 4 shared, I have had 2 of my designers in the past month or so have to reformat their hard drives. I have also had several friends who have fallen victim to these. They are UGLY and NASTY guys and dolls, so please be very very careful when downloading from 4 shared.
It appears that hackers are hacking into the ads and they are injecting them with an executable code that contains one or many virus.
Please make sure your kits and more importantly, your precious photos are backed up.
This is NOT IN ANY WAY the fault of any designer choosing to use 4 shared. Their files appear to be clean from my information. It also appears to be random but propagating itself. I even hesitated posting this, because I do not use 4 shared anymore, and didn't want people to think I was saying "come download from me".....but I want you to know they are all working on solutions for new downloads too!

DIP is extinct now....it's my absolute, absolute favorite program whatsoever......I'll use it until I can't use it anymore.....I have PSE4, PSE7, and CS3, but I will say that I can do things in DIP (like using a template) in a fraction of the steps it takes to do one in ANY other program. I love it, but you can only snag it on Ebay or similar sites now.....darn that Billy Gates!
But for those who are NEW to Digital Scrapbooking, or are considering switching over to the dark side of Photoshop....ROFL....
I want to tell you about the Fun Loving folks at Scrappers Workshop!!!
I've known Jenn for over 4 years now (has it REALLY been that long? LOL), and she is absolutely the BEST teacher ever when it comes to Digital Scrapbooking!
I purchased her online class for PSE users. I was thinking "Yeah, I'll learn a little more than what I know now"....but I was AMAZED at all of the information, and how well it was not only presented but laid out as well.
Here's the absolutely COOL part.....they use "Go to Meeting". So you actually get to "talk" to your instructor "live". Which is wonderful, because on several occasions, I would say "ahem....I don't understand, could you review that again?", and Voila, she stops and takes the time to go over it one more time (or sometimes several as was in my case!). You will absolutely LOVE it!!!!!
She and her hubby Stan also have a great blog that is chock full of goodies and goodies! There are tips and tricks, and simple steps (thanks always Stan for keepin' it simple for lil' ol' me), to really really enhance your preservation of your precious photos!
So if you'd really like to take a class that is interactive and "spot on", PLEASE do YOURSELF a favor, and hop on over to Scrappers Workshop and let Jenn know I sent you when you sign up for a class or two or three!

Well, I have made some GREAT Blog Debris and put them over in the store at Scrapdebris! Kits with items to embellish your blogs with.....Headers, Backgrounds, Sidebar Tags, Page Separators, along with a step by step "simple" tutorial on using my images (or others for that matter) to modify your blog!

That being said, <GULP>, I can't believe I am saying this....I'm actually looking for my very first CT team! I'm sticking my neck way out there I know...hoping it doesn't get cut off.

I got to know Virginia when I did my last Mentor Group. She's so sweet! Anyhoo, she asked some of us to participate in a Charity Collab.....that is close to her heart since it is a rare condition that she and other family members suffer from!

It can sometimes pour. Now that doesn't mean that you're gonna get hurt by some lil' ol' raindrops, but it does mean you can really get upset at being soaked and wet.......
DH had to leave for Norway on Monday (he gets home late tomorrow night hopefully), and had about 4 hours notice.......LOL.....luckily, the undies were washed and the suit had been dry cleaned......I'm goin' with the boy scout motto on this one...."Be Prepared".....those boys ROCK.....
When you're married to your best buddy, and you've known each other since you were 12, you miss that little venting and that understanding hug.....this week, I'm missin' it a lot....LOL.....Since I can't call him in Norway (why would I, it's too expensive to just gripe-and it would just make him feel bad), I sent him an email..... and of course, being the ornery cuss that I am.....I'm sharing it here too!
Things can always be worse people......always.....did I mention my dishwasher pump went KAPOOT on Sunday night? UGH.....normally he would have gotten me a new one immediately, but it was Sunday, and we though we had all week long. I'm not above doing them by hand, so I just resigned myself to it!
But alas, I'm having a pitty party while washing every towel in my house (AGAIN TODAY) that I used to mop up the flood until I got it under control!
Here is the email...enjoy! I know he will have the longest flight of his life on the way home, because he'll surely check his email on his laptop right before he gets on the plane, like always!
When it Rains, It Apparently can Pour too
During tonight's "washing dishes" a pipe under the sink broke, which normally would NOT have been a problem.....but the sink was full as I was washing dishes...I'm bailing the one side, and it's draining from everywehre.....so bleepin' water went everywhere......don't worry, I mopped it up with the towels that were as fresh as ivory spring when I put them away less than 2 hours ago.....but maybe they like the washing machine and I'm doing them a favor.
I mopped it up, turned off the water, and am draining under the sink. By the way, did you know that you can't fit a bucket under the pipe there? No worries that popcorn bowl and the large soup pot came in quite handy.....maybe you'd like to have a bowl this weekend....but alas, I can't wash it, so you'll have to eat it with the gunk brushed out.....
Just so's you know what you'll be doing this weekend.
Replacing the bottom shelf under the sink.
Replacing the pipes under the sink, if I can fix it.
Ordering me a new dishwasher (forget the repair, I'm beyond that now!)

Cause I'll be sitting on my big fat round bahookie in the bed with a bag of chocolates and some expensive wine......and possibly watching some sick freak kindof a comedy so I can pretend not to be overwhelmed.
Oh and by the way, I saw a mouse in the front living room this morning, little sucker went whizzing by me when I opened the front door........so pick up some MOUSE KILLER bait on the way home, or I'm going to the shelter to get some nice ferrile cats and turning them but wild all over the house.

Just a note to let you DIPpers know that my DIP template store will be closing from February 7-Feb 14th.
